Dr John Hur

Dr John finished his studies to become a dentist in 2015 at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Born in South Korea, he has lived and studied around the world including the US, New Zealand and Australia. Of course, he now calls Australia home!
Since graduation, he worked and explored Australia going from Atherton Tablelands in Far North QLD to Mandurah, WA. However, since last year, he decided to settle down in #TamworthNSW to become Your Tamworth Dentist.
If you’re anxious about going to the dentist or have had past traumatic dental experiences, you should give Dr John a chance. He’s thorough with explaining what’s happening in your mouth and gentle with his hands.
Dr John has special interest in oral surgery and loves helping his patients with their wisdom teeth and dental implants. Whatever dentally related concern you have, he will hear you out and always give it his very best to attend to your needs.
On his off hours, he keeps active at the gym, the tennis court or the basketball court. Sometimes you might find him digging a ditch or two at the golf courses! If you do, don’t be shy and come say hi! He will say hi back with the happiest smile you’ve seen.
Dr Daniel Terranova

Daniel grew up on the Gold Coast and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University, achieving Academic Excellence. Since graduating, he has primarily practised as a dentist in regional New South Wales.
Daniel is known for his gentle and caring approach to patient care. He values building strong relationships with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and enjoys helping people improve and maintain their oral health.
Daniel enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interest in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, including crown and bridge work. He takes satisfaction in helping patients address dental concerns and supporting them to feel more comfortable and confident with their smiles.
Daniel is committed to continued professional education and lifelong learning. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and regularly attends professional development courses to further develop his skills and stay up to date with developments in dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Daniel is an avid soccer fan and enjoys watching movies, dining out, and spending time with friends and family.
leytece tongue - CLINIC COORDINATOR
Leytece is the familiar face you will see sitting at our front desk. She has been with the clinic for 6 years now working as the clinic coordinator and dental assistant.
Leytece was born in Armidale and has been calling Tamworth home for about 9 years, married with two beautiful girls. She loves crafting and spending time with her family outdoors. Leytece is an animal lover with a few too many pets of her own including dogs, cats, fish, birds…and chickens.
With plenty of Dental Assisting experience up her sleeve Leytece will be updating her skillset by studying her Certificate 3 in Business Admin Medical this year.
